A new artist’s studio, master bedroom, and a bathroom with wood beam ceilings and antique tile floors revitalize a 1920 Spanish Bungalow. The addition encloses an outdoor courtyard with a warming kiva fireplace. The Spanish style is enhanced by site planning and structure to create a series of outdoor rooms and courtyards. Integral colored stucco and a terra cotta tile roof give form to the sculptural addition of an existing home in the Allied Arts Neighborhood.
